I was buying water, and at the checkout there were 7Days at a promotional price of 5 PLN. I didn't check the expiration date before buying because I didn't think it was possible to sell expired food. Upon opening the croissant, it turned out to be best before 4.07.2025 (and I bought it on 28.07). I approached the checkout to ask if the promotional price was due to the fact that the product was expired, to which the lady said with a smile “Yes :)” and walked away unfazed. I told the ladies that they could at least indicate this beforehand, because there was no such information anywhere, and certainly not next to the “Special Price” sign. It was my first time in such a situation, and the behavior of the staff and their pride in selling expired products is embarrassing.
